Online Counselling Across the UK

A calm, supportive space to explore what you’re carrying, at your own pace.

Life can feel uncertain, overwhelming, or painful at times, but you do not have to face it alone. I offer online counselling in a calm and supportive space where you can explore what you are carrying at your own pace, from the comfort of your home or any private, quiet place with a stable internet connection.

Online counselling removes the barrier of geography, allowing you to work with a therapist who meets you with compassion, acceptance, and understanding.

Building trust

My person-centred approach focuses on building trust between us, so that you feel able to talk about your difficulties without fear of judgement.

Guided by you

I will not tell you what to do or decide what you should explore. Instead, our work is guided by what feels important to you, at a pace that feels manageable.

Space to reflect

The relationship we build provides a space where you can reflect openly, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and consider what you may want to change.

Trauma-informed therapy

My work is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming.

I aim to create a space that respects your pace and responds to the ways trauma, identity, difference, or lived experience may shape how you experience the world. Being trauma-informed means recognising how past experiences can continue to affect the present, sometimes in subtle ways. Safety, choice, and trust, and collaboration remain central to the work we do together.

Neurodivergent-affirming & LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy

Being neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming means valuing different ways of thinking, feeling, processing, relating, and being. You will not be judged here.

Whether you are autistic, have ADHD (attention and hyperactivity differences), or are highly sensitive, exploring identity, or simply experience the world differently, you are welcome as you are.

Issues I can support with

People come to counselling for many different reasons. Some areas we may explore include:

Anxiety and stress

Trauma

ADHD

Autism

Emotional overwhelm

Depression

Grief and Loss

Identity and Self-Exploration

Life Transitions

Relationships (Not couples counselling)

Working with anxiety and stress

Anxiety and stress can affect people in different ways and may become difficult to manage over time.

Counselling can provide space to explore what may be contributing to these feelings, while also considering interventions and strategies that may help reduce their impact.

It can also be helpful to understand how ongoing anxiety and stress may affect the body, as well as thoughts, emotions and day-to-day life.

Grief and loss

Grief is a universal experience and is often connected with bereavement and the death of someone we love.

However, feelings of grief and loss can also arise through other experiences, including the death of a pet, the end of a relationship, the loss of work, or a change in our sense of identity.

These experiences can feel overwhelming and may affect people in very different ways. Counselling can offer a space to explore what the loss means to you and how it is affecting your life, at your own pace and without judgement.

What to expect from online counselling

Initial conversation

Our initial conversation gives you an opportunity to speak with me, see how it feels to meet in the virtual space, and begin considering what you may need from counselling.

Your first session

If you decide that you would like to go ahead, I will send you a therapeutic agreement before your first session. During that first session, we can explore any questions you have about the agreement and may use an assessment tool to help you focus on what you would like to bring to therapy.

Led by you

Sessions are not led by a fixed agenda. The focus remains on you and what feels important for you to bring each time. You do not need to tell your whole story all at once, and the work will move at your pace.

Ongoing sessions

Sessions usually take place weekly, although fortnightly sessions may sometimes be agreed. We will also review the work together every four to six weeks so that it continues to feel relevant, helpful and centred on your needs

Free introductory session

If you’re considering online counselling, you’re welcome to arrange a free 30-minute introductory conversation. It’s an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and get a sense of whether online counselling with me feels right for you.

There’s no obligation to continue afterwards.
